Military technology, defense training systems, law enforcement training
Our client is a high-tech company that manufactures equipment for laser tag arenas.
As part of the development of the new direction “Military”, the client wanted to develop software for a new type of equipment used at training bases of military and police units.
The developed set of equipment should be installed on weapon mock-ups, flak jackets, military equipment and allow real-time monitoring of the movement of soldiers and equipment, as well as all the actions they perform – shots, injuries, recharging and so on.

When the client approached us, they needed a system capable of tracking dozens of fighters in real time during military training scenarios.
The main challenge was to deliver a fully working prototype in less than two months for a fixed demonstration to NATO and the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
Real-time GPS telemetry produced extreme data loads, while the hardware used in training required custom protocols and deep integration with embedded systems. The team worked directly at the client’s facility to ensure compatibility with weapon mock-ups and vests.
The breakthrough came after optimizing the processing pipeline and stabilizing communication between all devices.
Scaling the team to meet the intensity of field-ready development.
We expanded the delivery team as the project grew in complexity — from a small engineering crew to a cross-functional group including backend engineers, mobile developers, embedded specialists, and QA.
This allowed us to meet the strict deadlines, test the system under real training conditions, and prepare it for export abroad.
